Example: cruise control realization

Cruise control is a system that automatically controls the speed of a motor vehicle by taking over the throttle. The system is a servomechanism that maintain a steady state speed set by the driver despite disturbances from wind or terrain. To accomplish the task, the system shall be able to measure the car’s speed and compare the measured value with the reference speed.
