Simulation Models (Cellular Automation Model)

In CA-based urban models, cell simulates various types of land use changes over time. CA model is composed of four elements: Cell space, Cell states, Time steps, Transition rules. It cannot represent the decision-making entities of land use change, such as households’ and employments’ behavior, economic and policy changes.
