Microscopic traffic modeling in Matlab

In this section a basic microscopic model is discussed. The aim is to develop a simple dynamic description of traffic, by using the movement of individual vehicles. For this purpose the linear car-following theory is adopted here, which is very simple, yet allows us to investigate and understand basic properties of traffic flow.
