Contrary
to expectations, the number of pop-culture-related realia, specifically
proper nouns, was rather uneven in the two movies. While, as expected, The
Boat That Rocked contained several (19) performer and band
names of the Anglo-Saxon culture, there were hardly any Hungarian
bands or performers mentioned in Made in Hungaria.
In the case of the British movie, each item was translated into Hungarian
(both in the subtitles and the dubbing) with borrowing.

As we assumed that the same strategy
would be applied in the Hungarian film, namely, that these items would
be foreignized (either through borrowing or addition), we decided
to omit them in the table of comparison, as the numbers may have been
misleading, considering the high number of occurrences of such items
in one movie and the (almost complete) lack of those in the other.
