Innovation and excellence

Management methods for innovation transformation

Process improvement methods: Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma

Companies have a number of established process improvement methods at their disposal, among which Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma occupy a prominent place. There are several similarities between them, as they all aim to help businesses achieve higher performance, efficiency and reliability, thereby making them more competitive. What's more, each method consists of similar stages. They all start with data collection, followed by evaluation, then measurable and quantifiable optimisation, and finally follow-up on the results. The differences between the three methods concern the fundamental values and hypotheses relating to business processes and development.
