Innovation and excellence

Management methods for innovation transformation

Supportive management methods

Selecting the right employees is an important prerequisite, but it is equally important that the job descriptions include development challenges. Typically, employees are given an interesting task or problem and are helped in their attempts to solve it. In addition, colleagues' communication skills also improve, because discussing the proposed solution with the manager is a critical part of the development activities.
The "Good Idea" system introduced at the company works in such a way that the idea generator proposes ideas that bring financial benefits to the company, the recognition, formulation and development of which cannot be expected in their given job. As a first step, they present their idea, calculate the return on investment and write a project plan for its implementation. Smaller ideas are reviewed by the workplace manager and forwarded to Melecs' management. A committee usually decides on larger-scale ideas on a quarterly basis. The managing director, HR manager, production, engineering, finance and technical managers are involved in the evaluation.
