Smart City

Applicability

If one considers the enormous range of planning problems facing a typical metropolitan area in industrialised countries today, the spectrum of problems actually addressed with the twenty urban models in the sample is very narrow. The majority of applications answer traditional questions such as how land use planning or housing programs would affect land use development and transport, or how transport improvements or changes in travel costs would shift the distribution of activities in an urban area. ‎[19]
