For the interpretation of sustainability1 in the Hungarian legal framework the systemisation follows the classical approach of branches of law. Therefore, within the Hungarian law, for sustainability the relevant branches can be employed and combined as the following: (i) constitutional law and fundamental law (fundamental rights, government – ministers, environment, nature); (ii) economy and finance (public funds, public finance, taxation, public property, public procurement, finance, EU economy); (iii) environment and agriculture (land, agriculture, forest, wild, water and fish, air, food); (iv) industry and production (energy efficiency, production and fuel, media, R+D, post, waste, construction, transportation, tourism); (v) culture, education (culture, cultural and world heritage, public education); (vi) criminal law; and (vii) international law.
