Building the SIMULINK model

In this section we build the SIMULINK model of the basic linear car-following model, as illustrated in Figure 2.1. Open SIMULINK by clicking on

and then select Blank Model to create a new model. We will need a few building blocks, which can be found in the Simulink Library Browser.
