In addition, the above factors are often studied with different text types, different populations (novices – experts), different language pairs and different MT engines (neural vs. statistical). Although types of post-editing (fast/light, full and partial) are distinguished in the literature (Allen, 2003; Hu & Cadwell, 2016), the type of PE required from the translators is not always explicitly mentioned in the studies. In the following, a brief summary of the research results on the topics described above will be presented.
