Macroscopic traffic modeling in Matlab

This section is devoted to the macroscopic modeling of traffic flow. First, the macroscopic variables are derived on the basis of the microscopic discussion in the previous chapter. The analysis of the macroscopic data then reveals the connection between these variables under the form of static diagrams. Finally, a simple dynamical representation is shown by using the results of the chapter.
