The training of e-learning developers is a practice-oriented program based on the primary principle of learning by doing. The variety of the participants’ educational backgrounds results in a heterogeneous student group contributing to creating a high-quality academic community. The foundation of this training is based on the competency needs set forth by the labor market, higher education study programs, online courses, tutored education communities. The competence system can rely on the quality of tertiary education and can also be related to the demands and expectations of the market. The optimal course content consists of interchangeable modules. The shared element of each variety is education methodology, which provides a solid framework for the whole study program. Two possible specializations can be professional methodology and storyboarding, which are currently sought-after skills in the labor market.
