My sincere appreciation goes to all the students who took part in the study. Their commitment, patience, and willingness to engage in complex translation and post-editing tasks provided the foundation for the longitudinal analyses discussed in this book. I am especially indebted to my sister, Ágnes Lesznyák, a former translator, terminologist and quality officer at the DGT, whose ideas and insightful comments on digital technology in translation led our research group toward the study of post-editing. Our endless phone calls also helped me clarify and refine my thoughts on translation and post-editing.
