The environmental aspects of globalization and the environmental globalization

As human activities have come to rely more and more on the extensive use of the natural environment, their effects on its state have multiplied, enhanced, and become global in scale, as part of globalization in the broad sense. International cooperation in the field of environmental science has facilitated the recognition and investigation of those globalizing environmental processes, the clarification of their causal links, and the possible longer-term consequences. Subsequently, these discoveries have catalyzed the development of regional and global-level international relations devoted to environmental policies.
