The impact of multilingualism is positive if the environment is inclusive. In a multilingual environment, the school values and integrates multilingualism. Not only is there a need to change attitudes towards language learning and multilingualism, but research shows that there is also a problem of teachers not being adequately trained in dealing with multilingual children, which can lead to a lack of perception of children, which can negatively affect their future learning, motivation and success by their teachers. Parents of multilingual children will appreciate the reassurance that keeping their children’s mother tongue is vital and possible, while monolingual parents will appreciate being informed about the benefits of language learning. Supporting multilingualism can be taught to whole schools and communities (European Commission, 2017).

The parent-teacher-child relationship is the foundation for a child’s successful integration into the society. If parents are satisfied and feel that their child is receiving appropriate development in the hands of competent teachers, they are less likely to consider changing schools or moving and more likely to stay in Hungary.

In the future, I would like to support the research with a larger number of focus group and personal interviews, so that I can explore the issue in more depth with detailed answers from teachers in the form of in-depth interviews.

The development of an inclusive social approach and the improvement of teacher training to contribute to the practical implementation of multilingual, multicultural classroom education is a current task along the lines of experimental research.
