With respect to fluency, her 2nd semester performance received only negative comments from the trainers, it was characterized as disfluent, with filled pauses, pauses, repetitions, and word finding problems. As concerns delivery, both the target audience and the trainers used negative comments, such as lack of confidence, and both groups of evaluators also referred to her nervousness.

However, a marked improvement is mirrored in the evaluations for the segment recorded after the 4th semester. Both the trainers and the target audience perceived the performance as fluent, with only some filled pauses and false starts. As concerns delivery, the target audience gave both positive and negative evaluations, such as pleasant to listen to and focused, as opposed to shy and not confident. The trainers found her delivery to be monotonous and nervous. There was one retrospective evaluative comment from her related to presentation, and it referred to how she tried to behave calmly and naturally in spite of leaving out some data from the SL.

Her second semester segment was criticized for not being accurate, for example for using the expression biológiai szakok (biological majors), and for not making clear whether she is talking about a university or a college. Her recording made at the end of semester four, however, was described as eloquent with some problematic collocations. She didn’t touch upon any of the issues raised by the trainers in her evaluative comments (Table 14.7).
