Method

IRS-2 (see Magnusson & Ekehammar, 1975) requests the subjects to rate their reactions on ten five-point scales. Five of the scales contain items pertaining to psychic anxiety (e.g., “I feel nervous”) and five relating to somatic anxiety (e.g., “My heart beats faster”).
